Merry Christmas to all! I know it’s not until tomorrow but I thought I’d say it anyway:)
I don’t know if you feel the same way I do but I feel like most people don’t really know the true meaning of Christmas. To most it’s a chore and hectic because they feel like they have to attend unlimited parties, buy gifts for everyone which most of the time they put no thought into and stress levels are higher than ever! That sucks, doesn’t it?
The true meaning of Christmas is LOVE! We celebrate Christmas out of gratitude for what God did for us.
Christmas should be a time where you spend time with people you love, show appreciation to those that are closest to you and by your side, helping the less fortunate. Giving… not because you feel you have to but because you genuinely want to.
I love Christmas time! Not for the gifts, gifts don’t matter to me. Call me weird but a meaningful card means the world to me and I’ll keep that forever. It’s also towards the end of the year so I take the time and reflect on the previous 11 months and how I’ve progressed and helped others progress.
