Stitches in 5 different places, reconstructive surgery on chest/shoulder, Elbow surgery, ulnar nerve damage, Ruptured achilles, 8 weeks without leaving a bed and over 2 years of physical therapy combined. All in a span of 6 years. Each time I came back stronger, I’m still recovering from the ruptured achilles but I’m very confident I will be better than before I had the operation.
That’s my story, and I just recently turned 26. Every time, I ask myself..is it worth it?
ABSOLUTELY
You might think I’m crazy…maybe I am. Nobody will ever understand, but this is what I love to do so no matter what injury I have I will always give it my all and work as hard as I possibly can. Why? It’s what I do lol.. I don’t party on the weekends while my friends are out, I make plenty of sacrifices. If I could do it all over again I wouldn’t change a thing. I am who I am today because of what I went through in the past and decisions I’ve made in the past. I look forward to the future, I have a lot to learn and a lot of challenges to face. Can’t wait!
