I’m not one to express my personal life on social media but it’s been a year now where my life was turned upside down from a future I thought I had all planned out. I’m a true believer that things happen for a reason and that God will always guide you through the hardships to something better.
This picture to the left was April 2017, I was what I thought to be in a great place. I had a long-term boyfriend (which was thought to be a fiancé by June) and a path to a career I have always hoped of. The picture to the right was May 2018. A girl who is now single and finding her way again. Rebuilding a healthier future for herself in all aspects of her life.
I told myself a year ago I would survive the biggest betrayal my heart had gone through. I decided to pick myself up and stay focused, not emotionally eat but put forth my best effort to talk and turn to healthier ways to deal with hurt, anxiety, and a world turned upside down.
I want to thank so many of you who have been there for me with hugs, smiles, words of encouragement, and even some drunk nights of just being there with me. I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Sako and the whole No Limit Team, you have created another safe haven. You Have all helped me through injuries and have kept me pushing to be this strong girl on the right. The smiles and butt-kicking workouts have helped both emotionally and physically more then words can describe.
I still have a long way to go but with faith, hope, loved ones, and determination to keep pushing through, the hardships in life have become easier. Things began to fall into place and more importantly I was able to stop and say I did it, and I can continue to do it!
