“I have always been into working out, it just was my “thing”, I was a “gym rat”. “
Where do I start. I have always been into working out, it just was my “thing”, I was a “gym rat”. I went to weekly classes at the gym at my work, mostly cardio based, for years. I was never achieving results that I wanted. I felt like a was eating “ok”, but really not working out to my potential or really eating the proper foods. I have done every diet possible – Hello Hollywood Diet. I also have a husband and 2 children, so my only opportunity I felt I could get in for working out was my lunch hour.

In December 2014, I just was not feeling my best. I felt frumpy, and I had a friend challenge me to do a 1/2 marathon. So I started training. And I was not getting toned at all nor losing any fat or weight. I ran my 1/2 in May of 2015, then headed back into the gym. It was Memorial Day Weekend, and I texted Michelina and Allison and said – “you guys have a gym, can you get me in for FREE!” They said yes – and I was introduced to No Limit and the No Limit Family. What a great boot camp – super nice people. I was liking my 14 day trial, but thought, NO WAY can I make a 5:30am work out work with my schedule with the kids (they are 12 and 7) – I drop off at school and the PM class I could not attend because my girls have sports and my weekends are full of soccer. But I gave it a whirl. 5:30am class, and it works! It is so fulfilling getting there in the morning – getting a great work out and still being able to juggle a VERY busy life with my children.
“I can do unassisted chin ups, and the battling ropes I don’t hate anymore.”
Since No Limit, I have gotten stronger, leaner, and faster. I can do unassisted Chin ups, and the battling ropes I don’t hate anymore. My diet is so much better with all the nutritional help I have gotten through Sako and the coaching staff. I lost 5lbs over christmas and have kept it off. I worked out 28 times in March to win a Tank top, and really it keeps my consistency going. I try to give myself mental goals when I work out. I think I will add Jump Rope to my next goal!
5:30am does come really really early every day, but the coaches and the people make it so worth it. Everyone is motivating each other. We push each other. The coaches are always available to help with questions and assist with form.
“Memorial Day weekend will make my year anniversary. No Limit really is the best gym! “
I am so glad I needed a free workout that weekend! 🙂
