Sometimes we get so wrapped up in the RESULTS (what we can’t control) we tend to forget about the PROCESS (what we can control). Similarly, we tend to focus so much on the EXTERNAL (what we look like) that we forget about the INTERNAL (how we feel and function). Exercise does AMAZING things to our bodies beyond just getting lean and muscular. Take Liz for example. After a 3-year hiatus due to major back surgery (vertebrae fusion and disc repair), she has been back at No Limit for 9 months now.

In that time, she has not only been able to drop close to 20lbs using Weight Watchers as her chosen method, but a recent blood test has also revealed a decrease in cholesterol, triglycerides, and LDL, an increase in HDL, and a managed thyroid (no increased dosage in medicine). A bone density scan revealed a staving off of osteopenia (bone loss) due to her consistent and progressive strength training program, and she reports having ZERO back pain from surgery. Absolutely incredible!
