Adversity…we all face it at some point in our life and majority of us over and over.

At times when we face adversity we get down on ourselves, want to give up or just don’t handle it well. I know it’s tough, trust me I’ve faced it and it sucks BUT facing and overcoming it will only make you stronger,wiser and better. You want to be better, right?

Here are a few tips and reminders that help me, maybe they will work for you as well 🙂

1. PERSISTENCE

Be persistent and resilient, when you are tired and you feel you cannot go another step, dig deep and press on

2. BELIEVE

Believe in yourself, because if you don’t believe in yourself, then why should others believe in you.

3. ASK FOR HELP

It’s not the load that breaks you down; it’s the way you carry it. ~ Lena Horne

Don’t be afraid to ask for help. Surround yourself with a strong support group of people that genuinely want the best for you and care for you. Ones that will be honest to you even when it hurts.

4. COMMIT

5. BE KIND, HELP OTHERS

When you succeed don’t forget about the people that helped you along the way. Either pay it back or pay it forward.

6. SERVE 

Life isn’t all about you. Go out of your way to help others who struggle. Bring someone else up.

7. PRACTICE BEING GRATEFUL

Be grateful for what you have and stop focusing on what you don’t have. Appreciate everything. Other people have a it a lot worse than you.
