Anaheim Hills Personal Trainers Quick Meals Before Workouts

You woke up late, you’re on the run, just got off work don’t have time or whatever it is…you just don’t have time to eat before your workout. This is very common with most people and it actually is a big thing when it comes to the workout. Most people that don’t have anything before workouts end up lagging or their performance suffers, some will even get sick! Believe it or not this will actually slow down weight loss!

We all have different schedules and live busy lives but COME ON you can put aside two minutes to get some food in before a workout… I mean, most of us spend more time than that on Facebook doing absolutely nothing!!

Here are some quick meals you can have before workouts.

1. Medium apple and 1 tbsp peanut butter or almond butter
2. Plain yogurt with 10 almonds
3. 1/4 cup oatmeal with one hard boiled egg
4. 2 hard boiled eggs
5. 15-20 gram protein shale with small apple
6. 1 cup edamame
7. Plain yogurt with 1/2 cup blueberries
