My name is Dylan Jones, I’ve been coming to No Limit for almost 3 years now. Before No Limit, I lived a pretty inactive life. Growing up I was never athletic, I never really played any sports in school or outside of school. I always kind of considered myself the bigger kid, was always kind of uncomfortable with my body, was never the first one to take my shirt off at the beach or never really wanted to do anything that involved sports because I was always the out-of-shape one, I was always the last one in the mile line, the one that couldn’t finish without taking a break. My life now is completely different, I am more confident not only in the gym but at work, at home, and just in my everyday life. I feel like I can take on new tasks, I’m not scared to try new things, I feel like I can keep up with everyone else, keep up with my friends, and keep up with other people that before I would be nervous to try to do what they’re doing. Before coming to No Limit I was almost 215 pounds, I really never had been to a gym before, I had very little muscle, I was overweight, and felt sluggish all the time. One of my biggest goals was to get down to 10% body fat which was a place that I had never seen before. And so I really used the motivation of the gym, weighing myself and testing my body fat as a tool to track my progress and get to that point. About a year after I started working out at No Limit, I got down to 10% body fat, I was a completely different person. It changed, not only the way I looked, but the way I felt. I had more confidence, I had more energy, I felt like I could get through the day without being tired or sluggish and it just really made me an overall better person.
